  • 20+ years of experience in Learning & Development in various industries including healthcare, non-profit, post-secondary, banking, insurance, brokerage and real estate sector. I have worked with small to large organizations and stakeholders of all levels to creatively develop various effective training curriculums (classroom, virtual instructor-led, eLearning, on-the job training etc.) and have overseen each program to ensure quality, including delivery of the program, scheduling, curriculum development and progress/performance tracking. My training programs have been designed as such to engage learners on a broad range of topics including but not limited to technical training, soft skills (CSR), management training, process development, regulatory compliance, change management, and procedural training.

    Having experience both at a consulting and permanent capacity as a Training and Development professional, I have had to gain the buy-in and acceptance of the leadership team and other stakeholders across a multitude of industries, cultures, and personalities. In every T&D project that I have taken on, I have had to leverage the existing programs already created but have also taken an additional step to leverage the knowledge and experience of learners, to ensure that I cover every area that they feel they need training in and to make them feel involved in the process which in turn has gained their acceptance and approval for the curriculum. In addition to creating and executing the training, I have also acted as an expert advisor to the leadership team on strategic planning / succession planning matters.

    I am a Certified Training & Development Professional (CTDP) with a Masters Certificate in Adult Training & Development and Human Resources Management Diploma. I also have my Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations and am a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). I am currently pursuing Doctorate in Business Administration.
